About Captain Doug Iliff

Captain Doug has been fishing the East Chicago, Indiana and Illinois area of Lake Michigan since the mid-1970's. His experience has been consistantly finding and catching bigger Chinook (King) Salmon, Coho Salmon, Brown Trout, Steelhead Trout and Lake Trout than the rest of the charter fishing boats.

Captain Doug spent many years on the tournament trail for bass and was an accomplished tournament winner. This accomplishment taught him how to find the bigger fish to compete with the competition. He uses this experience to hunt down the BIG salmon and trout that Lake Michigan has to offer.

Captain Doug Iliff is U.S.C.G Certified and has the following qualifications:

• Indiana & Illinois Licensed Charter Fishing Boat
• Inspected annually for safety by the Indiana DNR
• Fully licensed & insured charter fishing Captain
• Member - Indiana North Coast Charter Association
• Member - National Association of Charter Boat Operators
• Member - Salmon Unlimited
